How to convert HEIC to JPG

  1. Add your HEIC photos using the box above (AirDrop, USB or email them from your iPhone first).
  2. Click Convert to JPG.
  3. Download each photo, or all of them as one ZIP.

Why your iPhone photos won't open on Windows

Since iOS 11, iPhones save photos in HEIC format by default. It's an excellent format — roughly half the file size of JPG at the same quality — but support outside Apple's ecosystem is patchy. Windows often needs a paid codec, older Android phones can't display them, and countless upload forms simply reject them.

This converter decodes HEIC right in your browser and re-encodes to high-quality JPG. Your personal photos are never uploaded to any server — which matters, because photo converters are exactly the kind of site you shouldn't have to trust with your camera roll.

Frequently asked questions

What is a HEIC file?

HEIC is the photo format iPhones use by default since iOS 11. Great quality, small files — but many PCs, Android devices and websites can't open it. JPG works everywhere.

Are my photos uploaded during conversion?

No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your personal photos never leave your device.

Can I convert many photos at once?

Yes — add as many as you like and download the results as a single ZIP. No daily limits.

Does converting lose quality?

The converter uses 90% JPG quality, so any difference is invisible in normal use. The JPGs will be a bit larger than the HEIC originals — that's expected.
